Since it was established in the Dürer Jubilee Year, 1971, Nuremberg Artisans‘ Yard has had millions of enthusiastic visitors. The former armoury of the Free Imperial City is surrounded and protected by the historic town wall. Enter into a world which brings the past to life again. In the small half-timbered houses and narrow lanes, artisans present their wares for sale, cosy inns invite you to eat and drink, traditional craftsmanship is brought to new life.
