Great Hall ("Grosser Saal")

1509 square metres of space in the stalls and 570 square metres in the gallery provide enough room for a maximum of 2121 guests (seated in rows). The stage itself offers 160 square metres for 770 choristers and features a large Steinmeyer organ with 6646 pipes and 86 stops. Due to its marvellous acoustics the Great Hall is ideally suited for music events while at the same time its understated design will not outshine the ensembles nor their performance.
