Ms. Kagwiria Mbogori
Ms. Kagwiria Mbogori was born in Kenya in 1965. She is a mother of one. She holds a Masters of Law Degree from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana in International Human Rights Law. She is a law graduate from the University of Nairobi, Kenya as well as a Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. Ms. Kagwiria Mbogori is the Chairperson of the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR). She has broad work experience at the national, regional and international levels. At the helm of the Commission she provides leadership for the Constitutionally Mandated National Commission’s Strategic Plan. The Mandate of the National Commission on Human Rights is to protect and promote human rights in the Country.
