Peace Table 2005

After the presentation of the 2005 Nuremberg International Human Rights Award, on September 25, 2005, the "Nuremberg Peace Table" took place on the Kornmarkt and in the Way of Human Rights.

This year, the programme was dedicated to Uzbekistan, the award winner's home country. Nuremberg citizens had the opportunity of meeting Tamara Chikunova in person, celebrating her and finding out about the cultural life and the political situation in her Central Asian home country.

The City of Nuremberg extended a warm invitation to all citizens to celebrate this special day together by joining the "Peace Table" and to demonstrate their commitment to human rights on the tenth anniversary of the Human Rights Award.
