2023 Peace Table

The Nuremberg Peace Table 2023 took place on September 24, as usual, following the presentation of the Nuremberg International Human Rights Award. The location of the event was Kornmarkt, along Kurt-Schuhmacher-Straße to Färberstraße and way of human rights.

Organized by the Office for Culture and Leisure and the Human Rights Office, around four thousand people celebrated this year's award winner Malcolm Bidali. Throughout the day, there was the opportunity to talk to him and various members of the jury and ask questions.

Special thanks go to TucherBräu, which served drinks from a handcart in the pedestrian zone in return for donations.

Impressions of the Peace Table 2023

A new offer this time was the KinderKreativ peace table with activities for the young guests. At the same time, World Children's Day was also celebrated on Jakobsplatz.

A particularly noteworthy guest was the 2009 Human Rights Award winner, Abdolfattah Soltani, who was unable to attend his own award ceremony due to a ban on leaving the country and was now visiting Nuremberg for the first time.
