Recognition of foreign educational qualifications

Since 1 April 2012, citizens who have acquired a vocational qualification abroad have had a legal right under the Professional Qualifications Assessment Act (BQFG) to have it checked whether their training is comparable to one of the training occupations in Germany or whether they lack certain qualifications.
